YOU ARE
An Engineer with 4+ proven years of experience with Ruby on Rails
Showing practice in React.js would be a big advantage
Able to collaborate and communicate effectively across Design, Data Science, Product, and business teams
Experienced with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
A holder of a growth mindset to work with new and legacy systems in familiar and unfamiliar technologies
Working with estimation and scope decomposition
Influencing customer decision-making and participating in product development
Identifying and driving code improvements, including technical debt
Being an author of feature-specific design docs
Providing technical solutions and writing project documentation
Creating prototypes and proof-of-concept with their further delivery and presentation to the stakeholders
Serving as an example of quality code and design, and pushing for better processes around how the team operates
Mentoring others and proactively identifying opportunities to improve internal and / or inter-team capability, such as interviewing and active participation in guilds
Being an advocate for a solid technical approach and influencing peers
Knowledgeable of software development lifecycles (Agile, etc.) and contemporary software engineering processes
Demonstrating Intermediate+ English level
