Business Development Director Project Overview :

At this position you will be responsible for executing our business development strategy on European market : from selecting targets to prospecting key leads and on-boarding new accounts.
To support its rapid growth, Intellias seeks to hire a Telecom Sales and Business Development Representative in the European region, where they are experiencing exceptional market opportunity.
The role reports to the C-level and works closely with Intellias Delivery organization to efficiently create, nurture and win new business opportunities.

Job summary :
Responsible for selling SW Engineering services to telecom & media companies (CSPs, equipment vendors, IPTV / OTT, etc.).
Intellias telco focused services include : B / OSS application development and integration, Cloud & DevOps, Network and Data Analytics, 5G and VAS services.

At least 10 years of experience of work or sales in Telecom and Media Industry with focus on software development and / or integration;
Deep understanding of Telecom and Media industry structure, key players, relationship between them and internal dynamics such as budgeting, procurement and investment cycles;
Experience selling to Western European and Global customers, deep understanding of their culture and business practices;
Existing network of potential buyers within Western Europe / DACH region or Global ISVs and Tier1 CSPs will be a big plus;
Proven ability to deal with prospects (at C / VP / Director level), and close the deals with large enterprises;
Demonstrable understanding of IT Outsourcing industry, its business models, sales cycle and markets;
Demonstrable track-record of B2B software services sales to large technology companies;
Good understanding of Telecom software ecosystem : OSS, BSS, 5G innovations, cloud systems, Enterprise SW suites;
Good understanding of modern software development practices and processes, both industry-specific and generic (e.g. Agile, DevOps);
Experience focusing on inbound and outbound lead qualification, identifying and researching potential clients;
Maintain CRM records of all sales opportunities while continually assessing and communicating goal attainment statuses;
Great communication and presentation skills. Fluent (preferably native) English is a must;
Ability to grow, develop and maintain personal relationship with a network of potential buyers;
Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities;
Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to take risks and operate in conditions of high uncertainty;
Be a brand advocate during all prospect interactions while identifying new opportunities that drive value;
Ability to operate efficiently in remote context, as a part of international, geographically distributed team;
Manage multiple accounts simultaneously during the early stages of the funnel;
Willingness and ability to travel frequently;
Technical background will be a plus.
