Project Description

Rate management and quoting system intended to aid freight forwarders in finding best international transportation options, providing their customers with competitive quotes, and other relevant day-to-day activities.

The project is implemented primarily on top of .NET technologies :

ASP.NET MVC 5 / C#

WCF and Web API services

NHibernate ORM

MS SQL 2008 / 2014 as a back end

Ext JS 3 front end

Role description

This is purely remote job, developers are supposed to work from home , not necessarily in Kharkiv.

Developer needs to understand the whole stack of technologies mentioned above and be prepared to solve problems at any level starting from the client-side ExtJS code through MVC / NHibernate middleware and up to SQL back end.

Primary responsibilities being :

Implement new modules

Fix bugs and improve existing parts of the system

Keep in touch with English-speaking project management

Secondary responsibilities :

Improve custom toolset used to automate routine development tasks

Contribute to system specifications; participate in discussions with business analysts.

Required skills

Successful candidate will have analytic thinking and strong technological background backed with 2-3 years of commercial experience in the following areas :

MS Visual Studio 2013

3+ years with C# required

3+ years of experience with MS SQL required

2+ years with ASP.NET MVC required

2+ years of experience with NHibernate required

Strong knowledge of ExtJS 3 required; JavaScript, CSS, HTML is a must

SVN source control

Besides that good spoken and written English is absolutely necessary.

Desired skills

ExtJS extension building

ExtJS 5 MVVM architecture

Web API
