Local Unit & Position Description
Our ESG and Sustainability services team in UK and Africa is looking to recruit a ESG Marketing Consultant to build our brand recognition and sales.
The team helps hundreds of global brand names across almost all sectors to build trust and deliver better sustainability and ESG performance, supporting DNVs Purpose to safeguard life, property and the environment and Vision to be a trusted voice to tackle global transformations.
The main purpose of the position is to help the team to broaden awareness and consideration of our premium brand in the Sustainability / ESG space through thought leadership and digital engagement that develops our reputation and relationships and in turn drives sales.
The role will provide additional expertise and technical resource to develop and deliver thought leadership and drive digital leads management from building campaigns, to optimising digital channels within the teams’ service lines (Assurance, Supply Chain, sustainable Finance, Climate Change, Strategy and Product Assurance).
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities :
Develops and sets the strategy and annual initiatives & tactics plan for the unit based on market data and customer analytics, with the aim to improve customer relations and increase quality leads;
promotes cross-selling by including the needs of all service lines across the unit, ventures, and segments.
Working with our ESG / Sustainability service leads to develop and deliver thought leadership content including webinars, breakfast briefings and social media articles.
Monitors and reports on marketing KPIs in a structured and regular manner to the management team to ensure return on marketing investment can be measured.
Proactively spots opportunities and creates solutions and creative campaigns suited for the service lines.
Effective and creative management of all online platforms across the service lines.
Ensures campaigns are executed within required deadlines, budget and DNV quality standards with the required results.

Technical / Professional Expertise and Qualifications Required :
Educated to degree level (or equivalent qualification / experience)
Significant corporate experience and expertise in marketing
Experience in connecting with stakeholders at all levels
Experience of building / growing a B2B brand in services or sustainability / ESG will also be beneficial
Organisation skills to meet deadlines and time schedules, able to manage limited resources with the optimised outcome
Analytical and data-focused approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Awareness and experience with the culture and differences within the region
Confident with marketing automation, SEO and SEM, Google Analytics, social media and content management systems
Understanding of web-based design and technology
Experience with design programs such as Adobe Creative Suite.
Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
Experience working in an international environment
Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualified
Tridion, Falcon and Eloqua proficient, or with equivalent platforms.
Has a commercial growth mindset
