Customer is a large hardware corporation based in Germany. You will play a crucial role in expanding new Digital Innovations unit and your main focus will be on development of a customer portal solution.
Further overall active contribution to the success of the digital transformation at our clients enterprise. In this challenging function, you will be part of a small agile team with other senior devs & designers.
The way of working is very casual and trust-based and the team aims for regular direct collaboration with project stakeholders such as experts from Service or Sales or IT experts from various departments.
This helps to ensure that everyone in the team is aware of project goals & customer feedback and has an opportunity to get first-hand input on topics.
You will be working with a state-of-the-art stack based on React and a GraphQL API, developing completely new services with high-quality UI components based on customer feedback as well as improving existing features together with your colleagues.
With your extensive knowledge, you will also be contributing to further improvements in our development processes and sharing best practices within the team.
Technical degree or relevant technical education
3+ years of experience working as a frontend developer
Advanced expertise and hands-on experience in creating clean, cross-browser compatible CSS
Solid understanding of the development process from start to finish, including design, development and deployment
Strong knowledge of front-end design and development, with an understanding of design principles
Solid communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally across multiple departments associated with the development process
Upper-Intermediate English language skills, written and spoken, and preferably basic understanding of German
Preferences : Relational databases
Job Responsibilities :
Working through the web application development lifecycle to launch
Work in conjunction with the client’s interdisciplinary team to review content to determine the structure of application
Collaborate with client’s team to ensure our site runs at peak capacity on every level, enhancing functionality and overall user experience
Perform regular site maintenance, ensuring user experience is top-level, and making changes where needed to ensure that standard is met
Make relevant improvements and changes based on internal and external feedback
Write reusable code, functional and requirement-based documents, specifications, and guides
Effectively troubleshoot and resolve coding issues with associated teams
