Infopulse is looking
for a Middle / Senior C++ / SQL Developer to collaborate with software engineers and product managers on the development and maintenance of Quantum’s DXi-Series of disk-based backup appliances.
Quantum Corp. (NYSE : QTM) is a leading expert in data storage, archiving and protection. Infopulse has been working with Quantum for many years on creating and testing software for robotized tape libraries and high-performance file systems used by NASA, Amazon and others and ensuring storage of petabytes of data.
Areas of Responsibility
Write code primarily for Linux systems, with programming languages including Python, C++, SQL and Perl
Qualifications
Knowledge of C++ and SQL
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline
Understanding of and experience with source control tools (such as SVN or Git)
Understanding of and experience with bug tracking software (such as Bugzilla or Jira)
A security mindset maintained throughout the development lifecycle
Excellent written English and verbal communication skills
Team player attitude
Flexibility for real-time collaboration with colleagues in the US time zones and daily meetings at 16 : 00 and 17 : 00 UTC
Excellent references and sample code
Will be an advantage
Knowledge of Bash scripting, Python or Perl
Knowledge of SCSI
Basic knowledge of Linux
Experience with complex software systems
Embedded or server-side experience
Any suitable combination of education, training or experience
Comfort with management by objectives (MBO).
