We are looking for Digital Manager CEE role for big international FMCG company (luxury & premium segment) SUMMARY The Digital Manager will be in charge of establishing and implementing the Social Media strategy across the CEE region.
This includes initiating and being accountable for the strategies & plans by brand and market after establishing the priorities for the region and working hand in hand with markets on briefs, KPIs and agency management.
They are expected to come up with innovative, compelling digital marketing concepts, develop / adapt and implement digital campaigns in close collaboration with the brand managers and Maisons.
The campaigns should deliver the brand’s objectives and ambitions, as well as ensuring consistency in tone & style in line with other channels and across all markets.
The Digital Manager will also be responsible for driving the Digital education & inspiration across the region for the CEE teams and distributors, constantly identifying the latest digital marketing trends & emerging technologies and ensuring the local market teams have the right tools to manage their respective local agencies.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES : STRATEGY Establish the Digital strategy across the CEE region and the priorities by brand and market Provide an assessment of the digital landscape across the CEE region, including legal constraints, available platforms and evaluation of local agencies Establish KPIs for all campaigns and brief teams about expected objective and outcome Benchmark best practice examples relevant for MH, develop and implement great stand-alone digital ideas that engage consumers with the product / brand on different digital platforms Establish strategies to work around constraints in dark markets DIGITAL PLANS Review Maisons plans and assets and identify potential gaps Create Digital briefs for local Brand Managers post RMM, including for E-Retail partners Work closely with local Brand Managers (including within distributors) to build strong plans in line with brands’ strategies and ambitions and to deliver projects in a timely manner Work closely with local Brand Managers to assess budget yearly needs (incl.
paid posts, POSM, free stock ) Ensure strong Digital activations included in each brand plan Support local brand teams in managing their local digital agencies, including budgets, ROI / KPIs and the development of local digital assets Amplify local initiatives digitally : trade programmes and brands activations (events, on- & off-trade, E-Retail) INSPIRATION & CREATIVITY Ongoingly assess competition’s activities and latest Digital trends and share them with the CEE Community across various available platforms (Marketing calls, CEE Newsletter, CEE breakfast ) Pro-actively search for sources of inspiration (Conferences, Digital trend agencies, Calls & forums with other markets ) REPORTING Assess success of campaigns and provide post-mortem analysis, including learnings and recommendations Contribute to Monthly reports and any key updates (such as business reviews) Provide regular updates to key stakeholders (incl.
Maison) on Digital progress across CEE EDUCATION Work in close collaboration with the CEE Marketing Manager in developing the teams’ Digital capabilities, including onboarding of new members (CEE + distributors) and regular training sessions QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED : 5 years of work experience on digital projects, preferably as a Digital Media / Digital Project Manager or Brand Manager responsible for digital communication University degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalistic, IT and / or a related discipline (Digital) Experience and an excellent eye for detail in digital media.
Understanding of production across all digital sources Excellent understanding of paid / earned / shared / owned media landscape and in-deep knowledge of marketing and advertising trends and opportunities in Digital Excellent know-how of brand marketing, digital campaigns on different platforms Excellent organizational and project planning / management skills coupled with the ability to work in a self-directed manner Experience in campaign reporting and analysis Ability to work and build relationships with a range of partners, stakeholders and external contractors Experience in alcohol / tobacco brands marketing is a plus (legal advertising constraints) Understanding of business specifics (market / legal environment) is a must Fluent Russian and Fluent English (high level of literacy, deep feeling and richness of the language), French is appreciated, but not a must PERSONAL : A good affinity to luxury / premium products High level of creativity and thinking outside the box High level of pro-activity and can-do attitude (working around budget and legal constraints) Strong planning, budgeting and coordination skills Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude Ability to inspire / influence and motivate local brand teams on digital activations Well-organized, self-disciplined, responsible person Strategic and critical thinking and tendency for a helicopter view Project leader
