Job Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP developers to join our Team at Lviv. The customer is one of the fastest growing US based startup with its development center in EU.
They develop print on demand platform that has a huge user base all over the world.
The team in Lviv consists of Tech / Team Lead now and planned to extend to 4 engineers, 1 AQA engineer and 1 PO / PM.
You will be developing from scratch one of the key platform modules that will handle huge amount of transactions using macro / micro services architecture.
The module will run its own persistence and provide services through API. Intention is to go towards event sourcing architecture with Kafka with decentralised persistence for services.
There is a space for configuration / rules engine and workflow management to give business more ownership and control on how system operates.

The practices such as Pair Programming, Refactoring, Code Reviews, Weekly Knowledge Sharing sessions, TDD / BDD, A / B testing and Continuous Delivery are an important part of the development process.
Responsibilities :
You will work alongside the product teams and product managers to iterate on new features
You will take responsibility in the design and execution of your own initiatives
You will help identify areas of improvements in the codebase and help contribute to making it better
You will frequently pair with teammates to give and receive feedback from a code review to boost knowledge-sharing, learning and improve the platform
You will fix any prioritized bug / issues tracked within the platform
You will participate as a presenter or attendee, in weekly coding or knowledge-sharing sessions
You will learn, develop your soft skills and spend time discussing best practices and technologies with your peers
Requirements :
5+ years of PHP experience
Symfony 4+ (or Laravel) experience
Deep insight into Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns
Experience with microservices and event sourcing would be a huge plus
Good communication skills, upper-intermediate English
High load systems background would be a plus
Front-end experience would be a plus
