RESPONSIBILITIES :

Work with users to capture and document their requirements for enhancing existing systems

Contribute to establishing a standard User story format for specific use for Exams Systems development (Agile working in sprints)

Write User Stories in the standard formats such that developers can consume them without ambiguity

Contribute to and Hands on write functional test cases working with testing team.

Act as gatekeeper approving the scope of business functionality test cases and as assurance provider on successful completion of testing by developers / testers / UAT cross referencing to the business functional and process analysis knowledge gathered in the requirements exploration / User story boarding phases

Act as the focal point for coordinating and obtaining business requirements from a geographically distributed team of business users and rationalising the requirements into a single coherent requirement for development

Understand the development process and timelines, conflicting priorities and actively drive the requirements gathering process

Apply a range of business analysis techniques, working across a number of systems within the SBU portfolio, in order to elicit / capture / document user requirements, and translate them into detailed requirements that are meaningful to a software development team

Work with internal customers / stakeholders and process owners to develop a shared understanding of existing or changing business processes, and impact on systems requirements under discussion

Convene and facilitate workshops with multiple stakeholders across the business as a mechanism to elicit and test information, shape design work, validate analytic findings and develop a shared understanding of requirements and potential solutions.

Deploy a range of approaches (e.g. requirements mapping, process analysis, user testing, etc.) to support initiative design, development, testing and delivery

REQUIREMENTS :

Demonstrable experience of providing a range of business analysis services in a commercial environment

Worked with project teams throughout different phases of the project life cycle or ongoing enhancements to production systems

Track record of delivering sustainable business-focussed solutions

Strong understanding of business process mapping and design and systems analysis and design

Fluent English
