Payability is the leading funding platform for eCommerce businesses, providing much-needed growth capital to thousands of seller-entrepreneurs based on their marketplace sales.

As part of the product & development team, you will be a part of the robust engine that supports Payability’s promise to our customers for friction-free financing! The product & development team includes product management team, project management team, QA testers, as well as a dedicated, collaborative engineering force.

We support the end-to-end SDLC lifecycle for our projects as well as post-production support. Engineering team is located in Poland, but we work closely with our Product teams and leadership in New York, USA.

For one our teams Growth and Retention (GAR) we are looking for ambitious Software Engineer, with real life experience in building Python microservices deployed in AWS- native environment.

Growth and Retention team is building solutions focused on customer experience, their retention as well as managing transactions, billing, supporting our customer business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Design and build scalable & high-performance backend microservices

Participation in code reviews

Code maintenance and troubleshooting

Write unit and integration tests

Working with cross-functional team

REQUIREMENTS

2+ years of experience building products for the consumer in a SaaS environment

Experience in building enterprise systems using Python

Experience building production application with Flask / Django

Experience with PostgreSQL database

Experience with GIT or SVN

Ability to Write clean and maintainable code

Experience with AWS environments

Solid experience with Agile methodology

Fintech experience or Finance interests would be a plus

Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

Ability to effectively communicate progress to key stakeholders

Strong english communication skills

Enthusiasm and passion for programming
