welcomes talented professionals to join our project as a Senior Java Fullstack Developer for our respectful client BICS.
You will be part of a small team, which is responsible for BICS Fraud platform.
Areas of Responsibility
You will do the development of applications for the Fraud Management platform including participation in development of new internal REST-based services, portal for end users, refactoring of existing codebase, working on reduction of technical debt and helping with improving of applications quality
You will perform data analysis of the system and understand the relation with the other BICS platforms
You translate the business requests into a functional and technical design
You will be part of a guard duty schedule for 24 / 7 platform support together with the team
Qualifications
Multi-Year Experience with Java 8 / 11 / 17 in an enterprise environment
Experience in Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA
Good knowledge of Oracle databases and SQL
Experience in Javascript and React.js (AngularJS is a plus)
Knowledge of Webservices : being able to write and design RESTful APIs according to best practices (SOAP Webservices knowledge is a plus)
Knowledge of Design patterns & clean code principles, with focus on writing testable and tested code
Additionally we use the following technologies in our projects, Jenkins, Maven, GIT and sonar
Experience in Agile / Scrum
Personal skills
Strong analysis skill to capture / understand the business requirements delivered by BICS (international carrier service business)
You are passionate about IT and able to think out of the box
Good level of English, communication is key in successful teams and we expect developers to be able to communicate with other teams and stakeholders (Fluent English is mandatory, French or Dutch is a plus)

Experience in Microservice architectures or refactoring process towards a service-based model
Performance tuning experience
Test Driven Development experience
Experience in AWS, Docker and Kubernetes
Ability to estimate and commit on a plan of realization
Experience with big volumes of data
Experience in telecom sector
