ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The objective of this position is to serve as primary liaison for the business community. The incumbent is responsible for conducting the initial assessment of technology requirements of respective business functions.
The incumbent works with business power users to ensure that IT change requests to support Market growth and transformation objectives are in line with strategic priorities and JTI's IT change management process.
The position holder provides the necessary support to successfully complete the business requirements analysis and solution evaluation and selection, while complying with JTI IT and Corporate governence standards, and also assists in the planning and execution of approved projects, provides project administration support, including project budgeting, procurement and billing, while at the same time ensuring effective and efficient on-going day-to-day operations.
What will you actually do?
o develop a strong relationship and work closely with the business community, leveraging commercial knowledge to drive the assessment of specific technology requirements to enable respective business functions to achieve ASP targets
o communicate findings to the IT Business Solutions Managers or equivalent Line Manager and provide effective communication to relevant parties
o proactively look for potential business improvements and supports designated business power users
o conduct an initial assessment and provide timely feedback on potential issues / risks
o be responsible for analyzing and implementing subsequent change requests for solution enhancements, as per JTI's IT change management process
o support the Business Solutions Manager / Line Manager in coordinating with Corporate project teams for respective implementation / modification of the corporate IT systems (SAP HANA, TME Connect, etc.
Actively contribute to the implementation of Market solutions covering the functionality required by business functions but not existing in the corporate IT systems portfolio
o through proactive business involvement, drive the completion of the detailed functional and technical analysis of business transformation and change initiatives
o be responsible for completing the required documentation, ensuring adherence to JTI quality standards.
support the preparation of test scenarios and test cases
o provide coordination support during the solution evaluation and selection process
o successfully complete assigned tasks during solution design and delivery, in accordance with established JTI quality standards and best practices
o coordinate onsite project activities and ensure that business operations are not adversely affected during project execution.
o provide project administration support
o monitor compliance of IT solution implementation projects vis-a-vis IT standards, policies and procedures, and applicable J-Sox and IT risk controls.
o support the development, implementation and execution of the IT Services part of IT Service Continuity Plan
o contributes to the management of respective regular activities including review, testing and back-up resource planning
o provide project budgeting support and assists Business Solutions Manager / Line Manager in planning and execution of the IT AP / SP budgets (for Business Application's systems / services) and any adjustments through budget process
o establish effective working relationships with all internal IT Service providers
o provide the necessary support to select qualified 3rd-party IT suppliers for solution delivery
o coordinate relevant procurement and billing-related tasks
o provide feedback on supplier performance
