Department Overview

The Channels Pre-Sales Support Engineer will be an integral part of the pre-sales support team working within Motorola Solutions, providing technical sales support to the new International Commercial & Partner Sales team and Motorola appointed distributors / partners.

The new International Region covers the combined regions of Asia / Pacific AND Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions, and is focused on non-

government markets today. This role will focus on the East Europe, Central Asia, Adriatic region.

1. Prime Job Objectives

Support Channel sales to achieve plansDevelop new potential end customers for Motorola Solutions productsSupport channel partners in Pre sales activities with end customers and give technical guidanceTransfer product know how to channel partners through trainings and assist at exhibitions

Continues self learning on new products and soft skills

Work closely with the regional Sales Management Team

2. Main Duties

Support Channel partners at end customer visits and exhibitions

Join Partner end customer events and provide product presentations

Design system configurations and promote features and functionalities

Help channel sales managers and partners to win opportunities by

providing technical guidance and competitive analysis

Assist in regulatory matters, product development, type approval

Issue product list and price list for disassembly products

Develop product presentations

Decide sales strategy together with the channel manager from a technical perspective

Basic Requirements

University degree in engineering or technical education; electrical or electronics engineering preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to present complex topics to non-

technical audiences; very good presentation skillsAbility to work effectively with diverse personalities, environments and culturesAppropriate experience minimum 4 yearsDistinctive interest in and understanding of radio communication technologies and customer solutions & future developmentsUnderstand and develop channel partners technical capabilitiesRepresentative appearance, highly convincing presentation and argumentation skillsGood knowledge of the English and Russian language in speaking and writingWillingness to travel on regular business tripsSkilled in PC-

software for office packages such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google, Internet / Intranet
