ROLE OVERVIEW
The mission of the Monetization team is to demonstrate product value to prospective customers and existing customers, optimize the different stages of the consumer buying process, and ultimately motivate users to subscribe or upgrade.
The work is mission-critical, directly contributing to Brainly's bottom line. As a member of the team, you will contribute to the different phases of product development, influence the monetization product roadmap, and leverage data to make business decisions to fuel growth, and deliver cost-effective solutions.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for front-end and back-end testing and ensuring the stability of software releases across Brainly digital properties.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Support the quality process for product team
Analyze the requirements with a team to plan the best testing strategy
Choose the right testing strategy and plan execution with the team
Ensure continuous growth of the team's quality assurance self-awareness
Recommend best industry practices in the Quality Assurance area
Make sure the features we deliver are working smoothly for our users
Execute and prepare test cases and test scenarios
Investigate, report and verify platform defects and other technical issues
Collaborate with the development team, QAs, and Product Owners
Execute risk-based planning (prioritizing) for testing activities
Create and gather data for QA metrics to track achievement of core business KPIs
WHAT MAKES YOU THE PERFECT CANDIDATE
3+ years of professional experience as a QA Engineer
Experience performing and supervising exploratory testing
General knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Knowledge about best practices for test cases creation, maintenance, and execution
An understanding of user acceptance methodologies including, black box testing, use cases, and user stories
Understanding of the Scrum / Agile methodology
Strong analytical thinking skills
Self-organization skills, ability to make your own decisions and take ownership of developed solutions
Good time management skills
Experience with DevTools
Knowledge of tools for project / test management (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr, TestRail, Xray)
Fluency in English
WHAT WILL BLOW OUR MINDS
Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams
Experience or willingness to learn test automation and testing frameworks
Experience working with mobile and web technologies
Experience with tools supporting API testing (Postman, Fiddler)
AWS hands-on experience
Familiarity with BDD and / or TDD concepts
Knowledge of Python
Familiarity with Selenium, Apium or Cypress will be a plus
