Management Sciences for Health (MSH) is seeking a Chief of Party for a potential USAID-funded 5-year health supply chain and pharmaceutical management systems strengthening program in Ukraine.
The purpose of the program will be to strengthen systems and ensure sustainable access to and appropriate use of safe, effective, quality-assured, affordable health commodities.
MSH collaborates with local partners, from the Ministry to the community, to strengthen and complement existing health systems.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
project management; documentation and communication; client(s) stakeholder(s) relationships; and coordination and synergy with other MSH projects.
This accountability includes effective contribution to business and resource development activities - including positioning, intelligence gathering, and proposal development - that contribute to fueling MSH’s mission.

Provide effective and timely responses to inquiries and concerns.
8-10 years of progressively responsible experience managing a complex portfolio of international development activities, including those related to pharmaceutical management systems strengthening.
Demonstrated ability in technical support of public sector health care or pharmaceutical system development and implementation.
Prior experience in working with international donors in Ukraine, Central and Eastern Europe, or the former Soviet Union.
Prior experience and success directing similar or larger international donor-funded projects.
Demonstrated leadership qualities and depth and breadth of management expertise and abilities.
Demonstrated strategic planning and visioning skills.
Familiarity with USAID regulations and administrative procedures in the implementation of donor assisted projects.
Proven record of aligning diverse, multi-level teams with project mission and vision. Track record of strong commitment to sharing knowledge, documenting experiences, supporting creative initiatives, and sharing credit.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with senior-level colleagues, particularly interacting productively, proactively, and comfortably with government agencies, NGOs, private sector groups, USAID, CAs, and donor organizations.
Demonstrated strategic agility, diplomacy, conflict management, team building, written and oral communication, and negotiation skills.
Written and spoken fluency in English required, including oral presentation skills
