The Client is UK company, providing to market business intelligence for mainly pharma industry. The core of the product is data platfrom containing 10+ years of client experience on the market and giving the decision making support over it using ML and other intelligent approaches.

The client is in the era of technical transformation and wants to migrate the Data platfrom to Amazon cloud and build redesigned and refreshed product apps over it.

Requirements

  • Strong facilitation, communication and negotiation skills
  • Proactive position, focus on improving impediments
  • Strong in people management : staffing, professional development, knowledge sharing practices
  • Strong in scope, timeline, quality management and risks management
  • Strong planning and monitoring skills for executing scrum projects, clear understanding of SDLC in iterative and agile methodologies
  • Advanced English
  • Agile methodologies implementation experience, Scrum master role experience
  • Good multitasking and prioritization skills. Track of managing few teams in parallel.
  • 2+ years in managerial position.
  • Experince managing teams of 10+ engineers.
  • Degree in CS or Maths or similar
  • Experience with AWS and data engineering projects would be a plus
  • Responsibilities

    Manage the team of 20+ engineers overall, formed in few scrum teams

    Work with the client team to manage the project : BAs, architects, managers, engineers

    Responsibility for the teams staffing, ramp-up, training

    Responsibility for the team Delivery : manage scope, schedule, quality

    Team / people management activities (1 1, professional development, professional assessment, conflicts resolution, retention)

    Be a SM and execute Scrum ceremonies for the joint local + client team for one of the teams

  • Tune scrum process for the joint client + local team for the better efficiency and clear status visibility
  • Analyse the results and improve with each cycle
  • Coach the team and lead in way of working
  • Align with client company’s way of working and culture

    Project status reporting to the client

    Facilitate team development activities, improving the delivery with each cycle.
