We are looking for a talented Test Automation Engineer who loves coding and wants to join the team of SDETs.
This work is for one of our US customers located in Silicon Valley. The team builds a product to automate the budgeting process for government institutions and consists of different modules.
We believe you’re good with Protractor or Nightwatch or Jasmin or CasperJS, etc.
Git and API are not magic for you.
Minimal qualifications : / At least 3+ years of experience as an SDET or a test automation engineer.
Education : BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
Your duties and typical tasks :
Creation of testing artifacts such as test plans, test cases, test reports, and tests.
Review product requirement documents in close collaboration with product managers and tech leaders to create and document test plans and test cases for features.
Reviewing the test plan and test case documents as needed with key stakeholders.
Contribute to performance testing.
Develop automated tests for regression and feature testing.
Perform pre-release automated regression testing for scheduled feature releases.
Become a subject matter expert by understanding the business use cases and capabilities related to the data platform code base and test frameworks.
Uplevel overall QA team maturity by contributing to cross-functional efforts such as for nightly tests, monitoring test failures, and improving the frameworks that run the tests.
Work with Jenkins to schedule tests, analyze test results and share metrics and feedback with key stakeholders.
